Anu pinagkaiba ng Open Work Permit vs Work Permit?

If you're eligible for an "open" work permit, then you can already apply for a visa even without a job offer.

While a Work Pemit is actually called "employer-specific work permit", you'll need to find an employer first and get a job offer, before you can apply for a visa. Pero ang haba namang sabihin lagi ng Employer-specific work permit, so nasanay na kaming sabihin na Work Permit na lang.

For more information, you can read this guide.

Kailangan ba ng Cover Letter kapag nag aapply?

I personally don't include a Cover Letter when applying for a job, unless required in the application procedures. But doing so may still increase the chance of you getting hired. From what I know, employers/recruiters usually skip this anyway and head straight to your CV.

Anyway, a cover letter is meant to enhance your CV, and show employers or recruiters why YOU are the best fit for the job opening. It should include the company's contact information, and your own as well.

The cover letter should just be a couple of paragraphs and should NOT cover a whole page. The first paragraph should be your introduction and why you want this job. It should also include the position you're applying for. The subsequent paragraph/s should demonstrate why YOU are the best candidate for the position and referring to your previous relevant work experience to support this.

Hindi po. You'll have to wait. The result will appear in your profile.

Kailangan ko po ba ng Police Clearance?

If you have a criminal record, you may not be allowed to enter Canada. You cannot enter Canada if you pose a risk to Canada’s security.

You may need a police certificate from any country or territory (except Canada) in which you spent 6 months in a row or more since the age of 18.

In some countries, it can take a long time to get a police certificate. Therefore, you may want to get them early.

Pag pasado na po ba ng medical, mataas na ang chance maapprove?

Nope. Medical Exam is just one of the requirements. If bagsak ka, then you can't get approved.

If pasado ka na, your success rate doesn't change and still the same as before.

Pag nakapag biometrics ba, mataas na ang chance maapprove?

Answer is still no. It's just one of the requirements to properly record your identity. Your application stil depends on your eligibility.
