Hiring A Consultant? Here's what you need to know
Disclaimer: Hindi naman lahat ng Consultant ganito. Pero napaka common ng scenario na to at pag nahulog ka, GAGASTOS KA NG UMAASA LANG.
This post is intended sa mga nagsisimula pa lang and walang progress. You will come to a point where you might consider hiring a consultant. Matuloy lang ung Canada Dreams nyo.
Scenario
Napakacommon na kapag nagsisimula ka pa lang, you don't exactly know from where, pero bigla ka na lang makakareceive ng email saying:

Mababa pa nga siguro sa 5% ung hindi qualified. I know I'm just throwing a random number there, and it might be exaggerated PERO the point is halos lahat naman talaga pwedeng pumunta at magwork sa Canada. Ang daming trabaho na hindi man lang kailangan ng experience.
PERO ang DAMI NGANG GUSTONG MAKAPUNTA SA CANADA!!!
Ask yourself muna, how likely? What's your chance na ikaw ung papalarin?
Kahit hindi required ang experience, may mga mag aapply jan na may expeirence at disadvantaged mo na agad yun.
With that being said, kung work ung pathway mo to come to Canada, let me tell you na, nasa sa CREDIBILITY AND EXPERIENCE MO yan. Wala yan sa consultant.
They'll make it is sound like na matutulungan ka makahanap ng trabaho at pagbabayadin ka pero NASA SAYO PA RIN YAN. Ikaw pa rin ang ang mag aapply, at ikaw pa rin ang aattend ng intervew. Wala iuunsad ung migration plans mo hanggang wala kang mahanap na trabaho.
If ang offer naman sayo is Express Entry, almost everyone din talaga is qualified to submit a profile. PERO nakita mo na ba score ng dinadraw ngayon? Check it out your self.
Kung wala kang job offer and/or wala kang experience inside Canada. Wag ka na muna umusa. Provincial Nominee Pathway? ang hirap pa ding mainvite kung walang job offer and/or experience inside Canada.
Express Entry is NOT Express, and most of the time, NOT for entry din.
Ung scheme ng mga consultant na ganito, hindi ko talaga pwedeng sabihin or tawagin na SCAM. Kasi legal naman and gagawin din naman nga talaga nila ung part nila sa kasunduan nyo.
So pag nagpalegit check kayo tapos KUNG sabihin ko na SCAM, maari pa kong makasuhan, kasi technically, they are doing things legally. They'll make it SOUNDS LIKE na they'll handle everything for you and you can migrate with ease. Marketing strategy lang nila un pero it will never be written in your agreement.
In the end, iguguide ka lang kung san ka pwedeng mag apply, tapos ikaw pa rin gagawa ng lahat ng paraan para makakuha ng Job Offer. Ikaw pa rin ang ang mag aapply, at ikaw pa rin ang aattend ng intervew. Wala magiging progress ung migration plans mo hanggang wala kang mahanap na trabaho pero nagbayad ka na at kumita na sila sayo.
IN SUMMARY
NO point in asking for LEGIT CHECK. Ung mga gumagawa neto, LEGIT SILA, hindi nga lang sila fair.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Learn the rules. Play the game better. (I am referring to the Immigration Rules)
Walang pathway na hindi ka magbabasa.
Walang pathway na hindi ka mag eeffort.
Focus ka na lang sa pagpapataas mo ng chance to get a job offer. Paying for a service, in MOST cases, doesn't increase your chance in getting a Job Offer.
DISCLAIMER: It's never my intention na siraan ung mga naghahanap buhay. Some of them are connected to an employer, and CAN really get you a job. PERO just keep in mind, nasa sayo yan. Nasa credentials and experience mo yan. Kung hindi ka nila pinahirapan sa interview and assessment, tapos qualified ka na agad, most likely pinadadali lang talaga nila na makabayad ka sa kanila.
BEFORE hiring a consultant, ask yourself. How likely can you get that job offer? Inassess ka ba talaga nila ng maayos kaya nasabi nilang qualified ka? And are you "JUST" qualified, or are you the best fit for the job?
BEFORE hiring a consultant, keep asking them question to test the legitimacy of their intention. If they are not even open to discusson, then that's very sketchy.
BEFORE hiring a consultant, do a background check. Background check is NOT limited sa kung may napaalis na ba sila. Check whether okay ba talaga service nila. Do you know what ponzi scheme is? If not, search for it. Hindi porke may success stories sila, doeyou'll be successful din.
